I find it very meaningful to support others with their emotional, mental and physical wellbeing, as a Therapeutic Coach.

I came to this work having experienced my own challenges relating to stress and anxiety, and their impact on my health. Through that experience, I became very interested in wellbeing, psychology and holistic healing therapies. This has led me towards living in a way that feels more peaceful, balanced and authentic to me. It also led me to train as a Therapeutic Coach.

Calm, warm and sensitive by nature; in working with clients, I am empathic and non-judgemental, skilled at listening, providing clarity and getting to the root of an issue. It is a privilege to help others to connect with themselves more fully, to feel more resourceful and to improve their sense of wellbeing.

Before this, I worked in the arts, on projects that facilitated creativity and cultural experiences. I have worked for different organisations in a variety of roles within the charity, public and educational sectors.

“I have enjoyed and felt very comfortable working with you. You put me at ease and I felt able to really go where we needed to. You weren’t judgemental or critical. You gave me time to reflect on questions and gave me space.”

“Lynda’s sessions have been totally invaluable. She is brilliant at revealing the bigger picture in a calm and focused way, honing in on the root of problems and offering practical and useful solutions through EFT and NLP. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing help with a specific problem or just seeking emotional coaching and support.”

A client

“I contacted Lynda after having counselling for a number of family related issues.  I felt stuck in some of my emotional responses and wanted to work through certain situations and how they made me feel in a different way.  I had a big family holiday on the horizon and wanted to be able to look forward to it rather than dread the possible interactions.  Lynda was patient and kind and guided me gently to a much better place.  The technique is gentle…it really worked for me.  I was able to take a step back whilst on holiday and not be dictated to by past interactions and have a really nice time with happy memories made.”

“I have worked with Lynda on a number of occasions and she has helped me successfully address a number of issues. She is well-informed and skilled at getting to the core of a problem whilst being both supportive and objective.”

“Lynda helped me to work through some low times and emotions following a divorce and to build up some new thought patterns and ways to process things. Her friendliness, calm manner and insightful comments, along with various ‘exercises’, made her sessions very valuable…I warmly recommend her.”
